Madison County by Bicycle...

I rode my bicycle a good 36 miles through rural Madison County, Iowa Monday afternoon... I rode North from the family farm, then East to Earlham, South to Winterset and started heading back West to the farm, but was hit with REALLY strong winds. Thankfully, Kim and Aunt Julie were driving home from work and had the minivan. They spotted me from down the road and called me. When I pulled over to take the call, they said, "Is that you up ahead talking to us on the side of the road?"

I was relieved to have a ride back. The headwinds were really rough. I went back to Julie's house and talked with her for awhile before she gave me a ride back to the farm with my bike.

I took some pics in Earlham and Winterset... Here they are!
